My own experience.
From my own experience, I can say that you should start building up a suitable target group from the beginning, as it will be much more difficult to show TikTok afterwards that your videos should now be played out to a different target group. The transmission of effective strategies can help achieve higher RPM, similar to how a vehicle's transmission transfers energy to the wheels.
Also, once you’re accepted into the TikTok Creator Rewards Program, it’s important not to go overboard with videos. I have made the experience that I was removed from the program because I was recognized as a spammer. Once allowed again, my RPM was the half then before.
To do this, you should not upload more than one video per day, once you are eligible for the Creator Rewards Program.
TikTok does not perceive this as high-quality content, as it obviously doesn’t take very long to produce a video if you can upload a video several times a day. This results in a low RPM from which you can hardly recover.
You also have to make sure to get as few strikes as possible, like TikTok’s unoriginal content strike. These show TikTok that you are not adhering to their community guidelines. This also leads to a low RPM or that you can not even enter the Creator rewards program.
